Booking Conditions

All quad bike riders must hold a valid unrestricted car driver licence and be at least 18 years old.
Pillions on the back with an adult licenced driver or on the back with one of our guides don’t need a licence.
Minimum age to join our tours is 7 years old.

All our tours depart on time. You must arrive at least 10 minutes before tour departure. Late arrivals can mean you won’t be able to join the tour or the tour will be shorter.

 

Itineraries

Our tours are fantastic because they are updated regularly. We spend a lot of time researching various routes and ask all our guests for feedback so that we can continue to improve our tours.

We may include some things not included within the itinerary, depending on the conditions; and sometimes we may have to leave things out as they are closed, not great for the weather of the day, or if we run out of time. It is difficult to put a comprehensive itinerary in place for our tours because every day is different. In any case, if we believe that we will be unable to deliver a quality service, we will cancel or reschedule. This is extremely rare.

 

Payments

Full payment is required to secure your booking. We do recommend you pre book as we do get busy as we only trek in small groups.
The balance is to be paid no later than the day prior to your tour departure.
Payment can be made directly through the website, or by bank transfer into our Portuguese bank account.
Payment per PayPal is available on request.
For last minute bookings payment can be made in cash on the day.

 

Security deposit
A deposit of €200 per quad is required at check-in, payable on-site prior to the commencement of the activity, and refundable upon completion of the activity. The deposit will be forfeited in the event that safety or conduct rules are not observed, or if the driver causes damage to the vehicle through negligence, recklessness, or irresponsible operation. In the event of an accident caused by the participant, regardless of the circumstances, the participant shall be held fully liable for any damages incurred during the tour. Should the cost of the damages exceed the deposit amount, the participant agrees to pay the full amount necessary to cover all required repairs and/or replacement of broken parts of the quad(s) involved.

Cancellation by Quad Ventura

Quad Ventura operates its tours in all weather (unless it’s too dangerous). In the extremely unlikely event that Quad Ventura is required to cancel a tour, and is unable to arrange a suitable replacement date with you, then a 100% refund applies.

 

Cancellation by You

Cancellation Fees are as follows:
The booking is cancelled within 24 hours of tour departure date or once the tour has departed: the fee is 100% of the tour price.
The booking is cancelled within a week of tour departure date though not within 24 hours of departure: the fee is 50% of the tour price.

 

Refunds

Refunds are not made for any unused services. No refund will be made if you leave the trip early for any reason.
